„Gut genug für eine Zwischenübernachtung aber weit von einem 5 Sterne-Standard entfernt.
Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht und waren überrascht, dass wir zwei riesige Zimmer im Erdgeschoss zur Verfügung hatten, ein Wohnzimmer und ein Schlafzimmer mit verbundenen Balkonen zur Seite des Gebäudes (Zimmer 012). Die Betten waren hervorragend und die Sanitäreinrichtungen tadellos. Das gesamte Gebäude ist interessant und räumlich sehr großzügig gestaltet. Das Personal war durchgängig ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Tischgetränke beim Abendessen waren inkludiert, sowohl alkoholische (Bier/Wein), als auch nicht alkoholische. Flaschenwein wurde alternativ zum sehr günstigen Preis von knapp über 10 € angeboten. Das Frühstücksangebot enthielt alles, was wir uns wünschten.
Hinter unserem Balkon war ein kleiner Parkplatz mit einem Schuttcontainer, der randvoll mit zu entsorgender Einrichtung, Matratzen etc. gefüllt war. Die Klimaanlage lieferte, auch auf niedrigster Stufe nur warme Luft. M.E. eine häufiger in Hotels vorzufindende Methode, Energiekosten zu sparen. Wenn ich ein Hotel mit klimatisiertem Zimmer buche, erwarte ich, dass die Einrichtung auch funktioniert, ohne, dass ich den Mangel rügen muss. Der sehr große Fernseher im Wohnzimmer und der kleine Fernseher im Schlafzimmer waren möglicherweise aus dem Museum entliehen. Wer benötigt am Fernseher heute noch YPBR, Scart und VGA-Anschlüsse? Wir schauen abends gerne noch unsere Serien vom USB-Stick. Der USB-Anschluß am Fernseher im Schlafzimmer war ohne Funktion und der Fernseher im Wohnzimmer verfügte über keinen. Immerhin hatte der Fernseher im Wohnzimmer drei HDMI-Anschlüsse an denen ich meinen Laptop anschließen konnt. Alle drei HDMI-Anschlüsse lieferten ein streifiges Bild. In einem Zimmer war der Hebel zum verriegeln der Schiebetür lose und ohne Funktion. Ich habe versucht in etwas zu befestigen aber der Haken am Verschlussmechanismus war eh abgerochen. Man konnte die Schietur aber mittels einer Vorrichtung zwischen beiden Schiebetürhälften verriegeln. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und fanden beim Abendessen vor, was in 4-Sterne-Hotels oft besser geboten wird. Die Fleischzubereitung beim Abendessen (Lamm/Rindfleisch) war dürftig, das Lamm unterirdisch schlecht. Immerhin gab es ein nettes Salatbuffet und genügend Füllstoffe zum satt werden. Der Lärmpegel, sowohl beim Abendessen als auch beim Frühstück, war extrem hoch, Unterhaltung praktisch kaum möglich. Das Restaurant besteht aus einem kahlen Raum in dem keinerlei Einrichtungen zur Dämpfung des Schalls vorgesehen sind. Zudem verfährt das sehr freundliche Personal anscheinend nach dem Motto "Arbeit muss man hören". Um fair zu bleiben, wir hatten für die eine Nacht 158,43 € bezahlt.
